A Summer on the Islands · Case 5
The Pine Forest
Every night, a childhood game is played beside the old well in the heart of the forest.
In the island’s pine forest there is a stone well; children drop wishes into it. This week, a game is played beside the well every night, and every morning something is missing. Deniz now knows that in the summer of 1996, the well was where Kerem and Deniz’s mother used to meet.
