Grandfather's Village · Case 2
The Threshing Floor
Every night a childhood game is played on the threshing floor, and every night something goes missing.
No one uses the village threshing floor anymore, but Uncle Rıza played there as a boy. This week every night leaves fresh traces of a game on the floor, and an old toy kept in the village museum has gone missing. The village muhtar, the headman, said, “There are no children left to play.” Uncle Rıza said, “And who here isn’t one?”
