Forty years of lost property, kept in the doorman’s flat, vanishes in a single night.
Deniz has moved into an old six-story building in İstanbul and knows none of the neighbors. For forty years Uncle Niyazi, the kapıcı (live-in doorman), has kept every lost thing found in the building in a single cupboard. On the first night the cupboard was emptied, and each item was left at a flat’s door. Only one went unclaimed. Deniz took out Uncle Rıza’s whistle.
